About CCR Motorsprorts, formally Old School Drag Racing

Team Members
 Vince Russo Driver
 Lynn Cunningham Head Mechanic
 Delbert Cartwright Mechanic and Chassis

We are total shade tree mechanics that love building awesome Mopars and have built a reputation as 'fair and honest motor builders'. We are torn between restorations and building stroker motors. Our restoration of some of the rarest Mopars has also brought us the respect of the Mopar community. Our first and foremost interest is our drag racing program.

CCR stands for Cartwright, Cunningham, and Russo. Following is each of our brief histories.

Vince Russo, otherwise known as the "Up and Over", hence hes the boss.. Born in Chelsea, Massachusetts (Boston), Vince went to trade school instead of high school for auto mechanics at Everett Vocation High School in Everett, Massachusetts. Vince started drag racing motorcycles on the street in 1970 then at New England Dragway in Epping, New Hampshire. Vince eventually graduated to big block Mopars in 1979 at his home track, Great Lakes Dragaway in Union Grove, Wisconsin. Vince has been drag racing big block Mopars ever since.

Lynn Cunningham, otherwise known as "Professor Knowledge", hence hes a mass of all knowledge. Born under a rock in Edgerton, Wisconsin, Lynn went to high school but was not interested. He learned the craft from an old man in a back alley shop who repaired all kinds of small engines. A fierce competitor in back road racing over the years, Lynn loves all cars. Lynn is truly a great mechanic and is the owner of the shop, CCR Headquarters. Lynn is responsible for running the shop operations.

Delbert Cartwright, otherwise known as "Goobert", hence hes the master of verbiage and silliness. Born in Stoughton, Wisconsin, Delbert went to high school in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin. He then relocated to Sacramento, California in 1975 and got involved in drag racing. His specialty was in an event called BUGARAMA in Sacramento, California. Delbert loved making those VWs run with the big dogs. Delbert moved back to Wisconsin in 2004 and joined the Old School Team. Delbert is a perfectionist to a fault and is responsible for the cars appearance, chassis, and much more.
